Madras Law Journal

The Madras Law Journal is among the oldest and continuously running law journals in India. Throughout its history of over 132 years of reporting, the journal has set the highest standards in the realm of practitioners’ law and academic legal studies. Its articles and other contributions contain a discussion of legal history and problems on a scale that is unusual in India.

The editorial chair of the journal is helmed by Editors who are or have been Active Practitioners/Supreme Court or High Court Justices, thus giving the journal a clear focus on the needs of the bar and bench. Judgments reported are selected by a highly qualified editorial board that uses a process of selection structured to suit the needs of readers.

Labour Law Journal

Labour Law Journal was founded in 1949 to report on the case law that began to flourish after the enactment of the Industrial disputes Act in 1947 and subsequent Labour Welfare Legislations. Since then, the journal has carved a niche by reporting decisions of the High Courts and the Supreme Court. This pioneering endeavour has proved very useful in developing the branch of Labour Laws and Labour Relations in India.

Why Law Journal?

  • The journal, well-known and respected for its prompt and discerning reporting, strives to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and neat execution.
